"Adopt a Recruit"

Postby KnightTemplar on Wed Jul 25, 2007 11:51 am

Ok, I want to try something new (well at least new to here). Anyone who falls into the category of NCO or higher can request to be an adopter, anyone who falls into the category of "Enlisted men" can request to be adopted. I can either match you up myself or you can match yourselves up. The adopter will help the adoptee learn the ropes and be a mentor to them while they learn what the site is about and how to post. This will not take the place of FAQs I post or other questions, but will be a supplement to the Military Academy. Most of the communication between adopters and adoptees should occur via Private Message, but occasionally there may be things you need to post about.

So, potential Adopters and Adoptees, post here so I can match you up.
(Potential Adopters, please post how many Recruits, maximum, you would be willing to take on so that I do not overload you.)

Well, with my newfound time I would be perfectly willing to play big brother (the good kind, not the creepy 1984 kind).

Sure, I'm willing to help out. Though I'm not on very long each time I do get on normally.

Besides, it looks like we need some people to help out too.

I'm not entirely sure that is what this thread is about (though something that should probably have a thread). I think this thread is about more experienced forum users helping those not as experienced find their way around and "learn the ropes" so to speak.
