What I get out of it is that other countries want our money and if we say they can't have our taxpayer dollars then they will be babies and not buy anything from us. Greedy Bastards.
The quickest way of ending a war is to lose it. - George Orwell

America has never been an empire. We may be the only great power in history that had the chance, and refused – preferring greatness to power and justice to glory. - George W. Bush

OK...I see now what the article was talking about, thanks Goliath :D . But isn't part of the economic problem we are currently in (the U.S. in general) because too much of our dollars and investments are being taken out of the country too rapidly? Wouldn't it be better for us not to invest our taxpayer dollars and ignore them because they don't want to buy anything from us? What are the chances of the United States recovering faster if most of the dollars and investments are kept in America? There's many different answers but I want to hear from you guys, give me your input.

BBC twisting things in the Governments favour as usual. The strikers have said all along that they are not against the employment of Italian workers-Just that they feel that they have been discriminated against.

This is a big story here in the UK. Gordon Brown promised 'British Jobs for British Workers' but has failed to deliver the goods (not for the first time). One more nail in the coffin of Labours chances of winning the next election (whenever that may be).

A victory for the working man. TOTAL cave in and offer 50% of the jobs to British workers.

Don't you just love it when the ordinary people take on the Oil companies and win?

Ok, I admit I did not read the article. But I alwsys despise the phrase "BUY AMERICAN". Most people can't even define what is American any more, Sure we all want buy American but what is American. Is a Toyota whose HQ is in Japan that manufacture automobiles in Alabama any more or less American than a Ford that is actually manufactured and built in Mexico?
