I saw a documentary on Fort Knox yesterday on the History Channel.
They only let cameras inside once, and they do not allow visitors. Nor do they allow the complex to be photographed anymore.
Contrary to myth; the movie Goldfinger was not filmed inside Fort Knox.
The blueprints have always been classified, as is the security system. They are, however, also home to the US Army Armor School, and about 300 tanks.
Do you think it is a good idea to keep it all that gold in one place? Do you think the strict secrecy surrounding the complex is a good policy?
