Silent Hunter IV

This game is a WWII Submarine simulator based in the pacific theater, you are in command(crew, weapons, crash diving from patrolling aircraft, ect) of a US submarine at the begining of the US entry in the war(Pearl Harbour attack , Dec 7th 1941)at the base of you choosing.

This game has a large following from previous SH games mostly V3(you command a Uboat in the Atlantic) and now(jan 2008)V4...and is largely supported in game fourms with many MOD applications available to you.

This game has an International following in both N. America and Europe and versions of each are available.

I started playing this game from V2 on up to the current V4 and have enjoyed all the excellent graphics and realistic game play. Like any game there are a few bug's(depending on youre computer operating capacity and system).

If you are interested in Submarine warfare from hunting convoy's to challengeing their escorts, this game is HIGHLY recomended.

If you want a shootem up quick action game, this is Not for YOU. The game is a simulator that you can adjust the "realistic setting's " from a "novice" player to 100% realisism(believe me you will know what it was like to command a Sub).

this game is available to download or as I would suggest Disc fourm.

My rating... 8) 8) 8) 8) out of 5 :bravo:

This game sure looks like it could be interesting. Though I am no gamer (only play Madden and San Andreas on the PS2), I think I might look into this and see what it is about. :D

Looks like an awesome game. I'll have to see about checking it out.
