Paratroopers vs. Air Assault

What is the difference between Paratroopers and Air Assault Troops? Is there one?

Paratroopers are trained to jump out of aircraft by parachute. Air Assualt troops are trained to be deployed by helicopter (Air Cav units Vietnam era).
