I read on BBC.COM (or somewhere) that arcade games helped the pilots' reflexes and UAV pilots (the guys behind the console back at the base) did better if they had previous gaming experience. No wonder the army released the game "America's Army" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America%27s_Army - it's like giving enthusiastic civilians free military training.
