Military units fighting in Iraq and elsewhere will see another hike in fuel costs next week. The cost increase will be the second time the Defense Department has had to raise rates in the middle of the budget year because of soaring oil prices.
The new costs translate to about $4.07 a gallon for jet fuel and $4.70 a gallon for diesel.

Now, I would like to point out that while we in the U.S. we tend to think our $4 per gallon gas is unbearable, we really should consider how bad it could be.
Netherlands Amsterdam $6.48
Norway Oslo $6.27
Italy Milan $5.96
Denmark Copenhagen $5.93
Belgium Brussels $5.91
Sweden Stockholm $5.80
United Kingdom London $5.79
