Cultural Differences

Cultural Differences

Postby KnightTemplar on Wed Jan 28, 2009 12:16 pm

Hello all. As you probably know, I want this to be a site that anyone can come to and feel free to post on without being attacked because of differences, regardless of their country of origin. I know that in the past we have had several disagreements and even some conflict between members which, from what I can tell, mainly came about because of cultural misunderstandings. To prevent, or at least limit these in the future, as well as to allow members from one culture to more fully understand another culture, I have created this section. Please, feel free to ask our members questions about their cultures or make comments about your culture in here. Remember, this area is designed to facilitate inter-cultural understanding, and posts made here should take that into consideration.
"Superior training and superior weaponry have, when taken together, a geometric effect on overall military strength. Well-trained, well-equipped troops can stand up to many more times their lesser brethren than linear arithmetic would seem to indicate."

I think this is a great Idea. Hopefully it will be used to it's potential and not abused or abandoned.
