What are your thoughts on the best Defense Contractors? Tell what criterion you used in determining your listing. There are no real right or wrong answers, just opinions.

Wow, this is going to be a hard one, they are mostly specialized (aircraft, guns, tanks, ect) and you can't really have a decent military without a lot of different ones.

That being said, I think this will be a really interesting thread. :bravo:

I understand that you would need many contractors working together, so I'm not suggesting they should be the only one. Anyway, here are my thoughts...

I think that Northrop Grumman is the best in my opinion. Unlike many defense contractors, they are focused on several areas, aerospace, shipbuilding, radar and sensors, ect. They are rated as the 4th largest defense contractor in the world and the largest shipbuilder. If one area starts going "dry" they still have other areas to fall back on.

Still Aerospace. Though I guess to do have to give them credit for perfecting strong arm tactics. They lose the tanker contract so they try to come up with any reason why Northrup Grumman can't get it. They somehow force their heavy-lift helicopter into a bid for a medium-lift helicopter, ect.
